This small, friendly, quiet farm site has 12 level grass standings with electric hook up with extra space on the slope for tents. Picturesque views of the surrounding South Shropshire hills.

Adjacent to Mortimer Forest (marked walks, riding, mountain bike trails). Park and river, 1 mile. Swimming pool and leisure centre (2 miles), Train (1.8 miles) and bus (1.5 miles) .

TENTS, TOURING CARAVANS AND MOTOR HOMES - all welcome.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times and walked off-site.

BOOKINGS ON LEVEL PITCHES ONLY
(N.B. exception to the rule: bookings are only taken on the slope for the very popular Ludlow Food and Drink Festival. Booking is essential for both level and sloped pitches as the camp site will be full and you will not get on site without prior booking). Minimum 2 nights stay for the Food and Drink Festival.

Arrival / Departure times:
Pitches are normally available from 2pm on arrival day and should be vacated by 11am on departure day.

CAMPING FACILITIES FOR SCHOOL PARTIES AND ALL GROUPS

  • Static caravan for staff accommodation
  • There is a large room available for dining or classroom instruction.
  • Self-contained kitchen, all equipment provided.
  • Flush toilets and washing facilities are completely separate from the other camping and caravan area.
  • A self-contained area, separate from main camping facilities.
  • You will need your own tents.

Horse Riding is available on site for any groups wishing to take part. North Farm Riding Establishment (BHS approved Riding Establishment, Riding for the Disabled Association Group Member Incorporating Carriage Driving). Booking is advisable, times and prices on request.

SITUATION

Ludlow is a medieval town containing many interesting and ancient buildings, including the Norman castle, the 15th century Parish Church, the nearby Readers House, the famous half-timbered Feathers Hotel and the Portcullis gatehouse in the wall of the old town. Ludlow has ample restaurants, pubs and cafe's to suit all pockets and palates. Guided town walks available Easter to October. Nearest pub (1. mile). The Linney recreation ground which runs along side the River Teme with a seasonal boating and putting area (1.2 miles). The towns Leisure Centre and swimming pool are (2. miles) and Mortimer Forest next door!

BY RAIL: Ludlow is reached from London (Paddington) via Newport, Monmouthshire. Rail services also connect to Shrewsbury and the North and the Midlands; and to South Wales and the South West.
